Lovely hotel. We were traveling from Dublin and Vienna for a family funeral. The family oriented room was perfect, as were the facilities. Lovely welcoming hand written note inviting us for a drink in the reception area which we were not in a position to avail of, given the circumstances, but would when we stay again. Great check in, lovely, informative staff and this high quality service was sustained when we needed extra hangers, help with preparing formal clothes for the service etc. Excellent mini kitchen facilities, great tea and coffee in the room provided as standard. Smooth check out, very understanding policy storing cases after our formal check out before departure for the airport. We will definitely be back and would recommend to any friends visiting London.

Room was good size. Bed Comfy. Nice to have 2 pillows each plus cushions. So many places I have been to recently have only supplied one actual pillow each. Everything appeared very clean. Nice to have kettle ,microwave and some plates and cutlery. Staff were very friendly ,professional but accommodating .Price reasonable very much so considering we were given upgrade on checking in. Area fairly quiet but near to busy areas and transport links. Also within walking distance of many culturally significant places, such as The Albert Hall, The Design museum and The Science museum There was some diverted traffic which probably made area busier traffic wise than usual however room given was to the back of building and was quiet.

We stayed at The Resident Kensington for 2 nights for my husband's birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and spacious, there was tea and coffee available, the bed was comfortable. I mentioned our special occasion when booking the hotel, and the reception team left a cute gift and a card on the bed - it was such a lovely touch. The bathroom was ok, the shower was small and a little bit uncomfortable to use, but ok overall. It's a really nice area of London with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

The Hotel does not have a breakfast room or a restaurant or a bar. It is a simple Hotel with no extra amenities but it is clean, good quiet location. There is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion in the bathroom. The room has tea and coffee facilities but no mini bar. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and the room a decent size with an iron and ironing board, and a desk.

The hotel is situated a couple of minutes from tube station and the High Street. For me it was the staff that made this visit memorable, they were 5 star first class. They litrally went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble and exceptionally helpful. The Royal Kensington should be very proud of every single member of their staff. Room clean, kitchenette excellent as was shower and towels.
